I was inspired a few years ago by a National Geographic showing all the trash left on Mount Everest. I realized I could make a difference with that environmental problem. I went to Nepal and recovered the pile of cylinders in the picture. Being a Maine craftsman I knew I cloud make beautiful sculptures from the cylinders and created the Bells From Everest. I even found a way to use the last scraps of metal produced during the creation of my sculptures. We made The Everest Ornaments. The only souvenir from Mount Everest which represents the Maine philosophy of never letting anything useful go to waste. Reduce, reuse, and recycle. They make a wonderful holiday gift that reminds everyone to use their imaginations and do their part to keep the planet clean. www.bellsfromeverest.com
Hi there! Goodwill has been reusing and recycling for 75 years! We sell your generous donations of gently used clothing, giving a second life to goods. We also do a lot of recycling. In 2007, Goodwill Industries of Northern New England recycled: 128,000 pounds of paper & cardboard 290,000 pounds of metal 196,000 pounds of glass & ceramics 9,676,525 pounds of textiles (and this does not even count what we sold in our stores!) Goodwill loves to recycle and we are encouraged by so many others in Maine who feel the same way. Keep up the great work!
my eyelashes are recycled skis!
We have fun recycling because we\'re just fun!
Because it\'s the right thing to do.
Made from 100% recycled milk jugs!
recycle bins belong out in public
We started recycling when we were freshman roommates in college!
It\'s so easy to recycle even puppies can do it!
It makes this guy angry when ski resorts don\'t have good recycling programs. I come and stay with my buddies for a week every year and we always have to take our recyclables home with us!
I love winter and I love recycling!
Recycling is easy! and fun!
Recycling is cool!
I get bummed out when I saw bottles and trash on the trails. If there were more recycling bins around, I don't think I would see as much trash.
I love recycling!
